How did you find dance? I went to dance camp when I was 14 to meet girls and I ended up falling in love with movement.
Why do you love it? When I dance, I am the best version of myself.
Last year you were part of the Pre-Professional Year full-time training program at SDC, how was it? One of the hardest, most incredible, life-changing experiences I could have imagined.
When it comes to dance, who’s your biggest influence? Linda Gamblin (director of Pre-Professional Year). She has taught me to be a human first, artist second and dancer third.
Where do you see yourself in five years? I don’t see myself in any one physical place but my goal is to have explored as many movement pathways as I can and to have grown further as an artist.
